I began looking at this board from ECS. Just wondering if anyone could help me sway my decision or point me toward another board. It has 2 very good things going for it: It has proven to be a stable and fast motherboard.

Please read the notes carefully before updating BIOS. One ecd thing I noticed was that when exiting Xwindows KDE my hard drives would spin down into sleep mode.
May 26, Posts: Recommend Abit, Asus, or Gigabyte versions. Yea, I’ve been having some good experiences with refurbed parts from newegg. From what I have read SiS will be writing the drivers for the sound. I’ve actually used that same vid card ati with the ECS before, and 1. Fixed some hardware monitor can’t work well 3. Works fine, no o’clock.
